Responsibilities
Ā Explains, promotes, and sells bank products and services such as traveler's checks and savings bonds.

Ā Receives checking and savings deposits, verifies cash and endorsements, and issues receipts.

Ā Examines checks deposited and determines proper funds availability based on regulations.

Ā Cashes checks and processes savings withdrawals after verifying signatures and balances.

Ā Answers basic customer inquiries regarding service charges and account histories.

Ā Accepts loan payments and issues receipts after verifying payment amounts.
,
Ā Buys and sells currency from the vault while adhering to cash limits.
,
Ā Receives FICA payments and verifies deposit coupons are properly completed.

Ā Balances drawer daily and counts cash in automated teller machines and night depository.

Ā Handles customer complaints and escalates issues to supervisor as needed.
Requirements
Ā High school diploma or GED required.

Ā Cash handling, sales, or customer service experience preferred.

Ā Prior teller experience preferred.

Ā Basic mathematical skills.

Ā Exceptional customer service skills.

Ā Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
