Part-time Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple software-related side projects. These projects may include automation builds, AI agent setups, small web or app development initiatives, and integration work. Your role will be to ensure projects are well-organized, timelines are met, stakeholders are updated, and deliverables meet quality standards. This is a remote, part-time role with the opportunity to grow into a long-term engagement for the right candidate. Responsibilities • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of small-to-medium software projects. • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and task assignments. • Act as the single point of contact between stakeholders, developers, and QA. • Track progress, flag risks, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope. • Document project requirements, meeting notes, and decisions for reference. • Coordinate resources (freelancers, developers, designers, testers). • Ensure alignment with business goals and escalate blockers as needed. • Deliver clear weekly project status reports. Requirements • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Coordinator in a software/IT environment. • Strong knowledge of project management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Asana, or Jira). • Familiarity with software development cycles (Agile/Scrum preferred). • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Detail-oriented and proactive in risk identification and problem-solving. • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus, but not required. Goals & Expectations • Take ownership of active side projects. • Establish clear project dashboards and task tracking. • Weekly: • Track and report progress across all projects. • Ensure no tasks are left unattended or delayed without escalation. • Deliver at least 90% of assigned project milestones on time. • Keep stakeholders updated with concise, actionable reporting. Expectations: • Ability to manage 3–5 parallel projects effectively. • Ensure developers and contributors are aligned and productive. • Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
