We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven individual to support our teachers and students at Deer Path Middle School for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Part-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with classroom instruction, supervising students, and performing various duties assigned by the building administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with instructional strategies and materials for student use
Work with individual students, small groups, or whole classes to provide instruction and support
Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other activities
Attend workshops and conferences as assigned by the building administrator
Perform other duties as assigned by the building administrator
Requirements:
Holds teacher or teacher aide certification in Illinois (or high school diploma)
Good health as proven by physical examination
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
