Part-Time Student Tutors for Cognitive Skills
**Overview:**
We are seeking part-time student tutors to assist with courses in the Cognitive Skills Program. As a student tutor, you will work closely with students to provide individualized support and guidance, helping them to succeed in their academic endeavors. **Responsibilities:**
ā¢ Provide one-on-one tutoring to students in cognitive skills courses
ā¢ Develop and implement tutoring plans tailored to each student's needs
ā¢ Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
ā¢ Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to ensure seamless support
ā¢ Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance tutoring skills and knowledge
ā¢ *Qualifications:**
ā¢ Currently enrolled as a student at Penn State
ā¢ Strong academic record in the subject area of the course(s) being tutored
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ā¢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ā¢ Familiarity with cognitive skills and learning strategies
ā¢ Ability to commit to regular tutoring sessions
