Part-Time Spanish-Speaking Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant
Assist World is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Spanish-speaking Medical Scribe with medical knowledge to support our healthcare client. This position is ideal for someone with strong medical terminology understanding, experience documenting patient encounters, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English. Key Responsibilities • Accurately document patient encounters, medical histories, assessments, and treatment plans in real time. • Assist in preparing charts, updating patient records, and entering clinical notes. • Communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and team members in Spanish and English. • Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. • Support physicians with administrative tasks, follow-ups, and documentation. • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. • Provide general virtual assistant support as needed. Qualifications • Spanish fluency required (both written & spoken). • Experience as a Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, or similar clinical support role. • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows. • Excellent attention to detail and fast, accurate typing skills. • Prior experience with EHR/EMR systems is a plus (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks). • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time efficiently. • Reliable internet, laptop, and quiet work environment. Preferred Qualifications • Background in nursing, pre-med, medical assistant programs, or healthcare certifications. • Previous remote/telehealth medical scribe experience. • Familiarity with HIPAA and US healthcare compliance. $700 - $700 a month Part-time (20 hours per week) Flexible schedule.
