Part-time Security Officer
Job Posting: Security Guard - 24/7 Coverage Needed
GuardSafe Security is seeking motivated individuals with strong customer service skills and a passion for providing a safe and secure environment. We are hiring a combination of full-time and part-time employees to cover shifts at a National Communication Center. Each shift is 8 hours, and we're looking to fill positions for 24/7 coverage... including overnight shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
Ā Monitor CCTV cameras to ensure security and safety.
Ā Perform regular patrols of the building's interior and exterior.
Ā Write detailed reports on any policy violations or security incidents.
Ā Maintain positive interactions with all employees entering and exiting the facility.
Ā Work closely and collaboratively with site management and staff to address security concerns.
Site Instructions: Details of Security Officer Duties:
Ā Arrive on time for your scheduled shift.
Ā Your post will be in the main entrance/lobby area to monitor entrants when not conducting patrols.
Ā Always remain alert and vigilant, monitoring the building for any suspicious activity.
Ā Suspicious activities to watch for include:
Ā Protests by small or large gatherings of people.
Ā Individuals loitering around the building.
Ā Individuals recording photos or videos of the property and/or its assets.
Ā Conduct foot patrols every 30 minutes around the interior of the building and exterior of the property.
Requirements:
Ā Cellphone for communication.
Ā Indoor post available.
Ā Restroom and shelter provided during shifts.
Ā Overnight coverage required for specific shifts.
Position Requirements:
Ā High School Diploma or GED required.
Ā Ability to pass a background check.
Ā Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
Ā Prior security experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
