Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities Use a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets, ensuring seamless customer transactions. Manage the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel, and providing exceptional customer service. Tag baggage and perform lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts, handling items as low as floor level and as high as waist level. Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. As a Gate Agent, you'll help our customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding. Your responsibilities will include: Use computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and initiating the boarding process. Operate jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors. Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds. Be authorized to live and work in the country you are applying to. Possess entry-level computer skills. Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be fluent, both written and orally, in English.
