Why You’ll Want to Work Here Hands-On Training You don’t need prior retail/hardware experience—what matters most is a love of helping people and a great attitude. However, if you’ve worked in hardware or retail before, that background will help you hit the ground running. Predictable Part-Time Schedule You’ll work 15–25 hours per week, including one weekend day, on a set schedule posted once a week in advance. This consistency makes it easier to plan around family or other commitments. Competitive Pay and Perks Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour 15% Employee Discount Fixed Work Schedule: Posted one week in advance; rarely changes Bi-Yearly Bonus: Based on individual and store performance Yearly Pay Review: To recognize hard work and growth Hands-On Training Program Company-Supplied Clothing What You’ll Do Customer Assistance: Greet and engage with customers to identify their needs, answer questions, and recommend products that will help them solve their problems. Sales Support: Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating product features and benefits. Store Recovery: Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and presentable throughout your shift—maintaining tidy aisles, shelves, and sales floors. Stocking Freight: Assist with unloading, stocking, and organizing freight deliveries. Who You Are Friendly, approachable, and eager to provide excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential. Available to work 15–25 hours per week, including one weekend day.
