- Check and manage the "To be Filed" basket daily to ensure timely filing of documents
- Scan filed documents and send them to the case manager for electronic storage
- Make copies and mail filed pleadings to insurance companies or opposing counsel as needed
- Perform daily runs to various courthouses to file worker's compensation and litigation documents
- Handle all incoming mail, faxes, and prepare outgoing mail daily
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available to work part-time, primarily in the afternoons
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an organized filing area
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Valid driver's license for making runs to various locations
- Basic understanding of legal documents and filing processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a legal or administrative support role
- Familiarity with document management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in filing and documentation
