Key Responsibilities Receive requests for technical assistance from customers and open requests in the company's ticketing system for the Help Desk technicians to review Review each open ticket to determine the outcome from the help desk and ensure that customers receive updates and exceptional customer service Email responses to customers to provide them with timely updates and ensure that their issues are resolved quickly and efficiently Work closely with the Help Desk team to ensure that all customer requests are handled effectively and that tickets are closed out quickly Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and ticket updates Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in an I.T. Help Desk ticket environment or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer. However, no prior experience is required, and we encourage individuals who are interested in finding a job opportunity that allows for career growth into an Information Technology or Customer Service Help Desk role to apply. You must be comfortable working on a computer all day and have exceptional typing skills and attention to detail. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field is an asset Exceptional typing skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an I.T.
