About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Part Time Remote Data Entry Clerk. As a remote data entry clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and processing requests for technical assistance from our customers, ensuring that each issue is addressed promptly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Receive and review requests for technical assistance from customers, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and accurately documented Open and submit requests into our ticketing system for the Help Desk technicians to review and resolve Review each open ticket to determine the outcome and ensure that customers receive timely updates on the status of their issue Email responses to customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their issues are resolved to their satisfaction Collaborate with the Help Desk team to coordinate calls with customers, as needed, to resolve complex issues Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, ensuring that our database is current and reliable Ideal Candidate We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a keen eye for detail. While no prior experience is required, the ideal applicant will have previous experience in an I.T. Help Desk ticketing environment or online customer service role, preferably with a technology company or busy online retailer. You should be comfortable working on a computer for extended periods and possess exceptional typing skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field (an asset) Exceptional typing skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with I.T. Help Desk ticketing systems or customer service software Knowledge of computer hardware and software, with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Post-secondary education in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as experience with data entry software and I.T.
