What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Answer a high volume of inbound calls for assigned practices, ensuring resolution to various patient inquiries
• Navigate and manage electronic health records to validate and document demographic and financial information
• Schedule patient visits based on provider preferences and verify insurance eligibility
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining accountability for performance standards
• Communicate directly with providers to relay pertinent clinical information and assist with after-hours needs

What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with patients and healthcare staff
• Proficiency in navigating electronic health records and understanding of insurance basics

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Experience in a customer service role within a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with MyChart or similar electronic health record systems
• Strong critical thinking skills to address complex patient inquiries
• Experience in handling high-volume call environments
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
