Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper (Legal Experience Required)
Overview
Solo attorney seeking a highly skilled bookkeeper for approximately 8 hours per month. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling. Work will have to be exchanged quarterly. Ideal candidate is experienced, efficient, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.
Duties
ā¢ Manage and record all financial transactions using QuickBooks
ā¢ Perform detailed bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
ā¢ Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain up-to-date financial records
ā¢ Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, using QuickBooks Payroll Services
ā¢ Handle billing and time tracking within QuickBooks
ā¢ Manage Trust Accounts in compliance with legal standards using on-line software
Requirements
ā¢ Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, including time and billing
ā¢ Thorough knowledge of legal trust accounting
ā¢ Prior bookkeeping experience with law firms (required)
ā¢ Strong attention to detail and reliability
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
