Part-Time Project Manager / Estimator (Utilities & Pipeline) – Remote

Ryanco Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager / Estimator to assist with project management tasks and estimating for underground utility and pipeline construction projects.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in utility construction estimating who is looking for flexible, part-time work with the opportunity to grow into a larger role.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
• Assist with project documentation and administration
• Prepare and track submittals and RFIs
• Maintain daily logs and project records
• Track project progress and assist with coordination tasks
• Support general project management needs as they arise
Estimating:
• Perform quantity takeoffs for underground utility projects
• Estimate work related to:
• Natural gas pipelines
• Underground utilities
• Wet utilities
• Utility trenching and installation
• Review drawings and specifications to support project bidding
Preferred Experience
• Experience estimating natural gas pipeline work
• Experience with underground utility takeoffs
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of demolition estimating is a plus
• Experience with estimating software or takeoff tools preferred
Requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable communication and ability to work independently
• Organized and responsive
• Comfortable working remotely
Work Schedule
• Approximately 5–10 hours per week to start
• Flexible schedule
• Potential opportunity to grow into a larger or full-time role

This position is remote, but additional compensation may be available for optional job site visits or field support, depending on location.
Compensation
