Job Title: Part-Time Podcast (Video) Editor — Remote/Contract Company: Podcast Plus Media About us: We create podcast and video content for small and mid-size businesses across the U.S. We’re growing and looking for an experienced editor we can partner with long-term. Episodes are typically 10–20 minutes. What you’ll do • Edit audio + video podcast episodes (typically from Streamyard’s host and co-host local camera feed). • Clean up dialogue (remove ums/ahs, dead air, crosstalk), noise reduction, EQ/comp/limit, and loudness to ~-16 LUFS. • Add predesigned intros/outros. • Light video polish: trims, framing, simple color correction, lower-thirds, logos, and end cards. • Export deliverables (e.g., 1080p MP4, WAV/MP3 with show title + episode metadata) and organised project files. • Create simple social cut-downs ( :10–:30 ) and thumbnails when requested. • Meet agreed turnarounds (48–72 hrs). • Collaborate in a shared workflow; attend brief check-ins as needed. What you bring • 2+ years editing podcasts (audio + video) with a portfolio/reel of shipped episodes. • Proficiency in a DAW (Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Reaper, Descript) or an NLE (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve). • Strong dialogue editing, mixing, and storytelling instincts. • Reliable workstation, fast internet, and organized file management. • Clear, professional communication and on-time delivery. Nice to have • Experience with Riverside, Zoom, StreamYard recordings. • Descript/AI cleanup tools, captions/subtitles, audiograms. • Basic graphic design for thumbnails; YouTube upload/metadata best practices. Hours & workload • Part-time, project-based. Start light and scale with us as volume grows. Compensation • Contract / $25 per-episode. • For: Edit + 3 social clips.
