Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Penetration Tester to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This role is ideal for a self-driven cybersecurity professional who can identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and provide actionable remediation guidance across a variety of client environments.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Perform network, web application, and wireless penetration testing
ā¢ Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
ā¢ Simulate real-world attack scenarios to identify security weaknesses
ā¢ Document findings in clear, professional reports with remediation steps
ā¢ Collaborate with internal teams and clients to explain findings and risks
ā¢ Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and techniques
Required Qualifications:
ā¢ 2+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience
ā¢ Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles
ā¢ Experience with tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, etc.
ā¢ Knowledge of common frameworks (OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK)
ā¢ Ability to write detailed technical reports and communicate findings clearly
ā¢ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Relevant certifications (OSCP, CEH, GPEN, eJPT, etc.)
ā¢ Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
ā¢ Scripting or programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
ā¢ Experience with compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001)
Work Details:
ā¢ Flexible hours based on project needs
ā¢ Fully remote
ā¢ Paid per engagement or hourly (based on experience)
Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
