Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Penetration Tester to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This role is ideal for a self-driven cybersecurity professional who can identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and provide actionable remediation guidance across a variety of client environments.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Perform network, web application, and wireless penetration testing
⢠Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
⢠Simulate real-world attack scenarios to identify security weaknesses
⢠Document findings in clear, professional reports with remediation steps
⢠Collaborate with internal teams and clients to explain findings and risks
⢠Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and techniques
Required Qualifications:
⢠2+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience
⢠Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles
⢠Experience with tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, etc.
⢠Knowledge of common frameworks (OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK)
⢠Ability to write detailed technical reports and communicate findings clearly
⢠Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
⢠Relevant certifications (OSCP, CEH, GPEN, eJPT, etc.)
⢠Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
⢠Scripting or programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
⢠Experience with compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001)
Work Details:
⢠Flexible hours based on project needs
⢠Fully remote
⢠Paid per engagement or hourly (based on experience)
Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
