Part-Time Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) Needed for School-Based Caseload | Kansas City, KS

We are seeking a kind and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school healthcare team in the Kansas City, Kansas area. Requirements: • Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing • Must have active RN Kansas License or a Compact License • Must have active CPR certification • Previous experience in pediatric, school nursing, or a related field preferred • Previous experience with Trachs, VNS, and Feeding Tube preferred, but not required Position Details: • Current School Year • Part-time: approximately 15 hours per week • Caseload: 1-on-1, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process • Pay Rate: $20 - $35 per hour depending on previous experience Key Responsibilities: • Provide dedicated nursing care to one student, including monitoring health status, administering medications, and performing medical procedures as prescribed. • Develop and maintain a healthcare plan in collaboration with the school health team, the student’s family, and healthcare providers. • Respond to and manage acute medical situations related to the student’s condition.
