Part Time Payer Contract Negotiator- Remote
Part-Time Payer Contract Negotiator ā RemoteWe are seeking an experienced Payer Contract Negotiator to join our team on a part-time basis, effective immediately. The ideal candidate is experienced in healthcare payer negotiations, has a proven track record of securing improved rates and favorable contract terms, and is proficient in Excel and data analysis.Key Responsibilities:
⢠Assist with negotiating medical practice provider contracts with payers, such as Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Anthem, as well as managed Medicaid arrangements, value-based contracts and P4P.
⢠Analyze contract terms, fee schedules, and rate structures to identify opportunities for improvement.
⢠Prepare data-driven proposals to support negotiations.
⢠Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align negotiation strategy with organizational goals.
⢠Maintain documentation of contract terms, amendments, and negotiation history.
Qualifications:
⢠Prior experience working for Payers in contracting or network management, and/or on the provider side of contract negotiations.
⢠Demonstrated success in securing increased reimbursement rates and improved contractual terms.
⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for analysis and modeling.
⢠Strong understanding of commercial insurance contracting practices and terminology.
⢠Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
