JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for Adjunct Instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, RN to BSN option offered through World Campus.
Job Duties
• Adjunct instructors normally teach one to two course sections per semester as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
• A Master’s degree in nursing or higher is required along with a current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Recent online teaching experience preferred.
• To be considered for this opening, applications must be submitted electronically and include a letter of application detailing relevant qualifications for this job and a curriculum vitae. Candidates should be prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information (telephone, email, and mailing address) of three (3) professional references, if requested.
Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arises. This is a one semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
