Job Summary
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant will be responsible for collecting patient data, performing basic nursing procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. Essential Functions:
Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and toileting needs
Collect and record vital signs, prepare patients for meals, and provide snacks and supplements as needed
Assist with admission and discharge processes, including preparing rooms and orienting patients and families
Perform point-of-care testing and report lab values to the Registered Nurse as delegated
Maintain a clean and safe environment, including hospital rooms and equipment

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
This is a non-management position that reports to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements:
Completion of a nursing assistant program preferred
No previous experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in the role
Work Shift and Location:
Night shift at Greer Medical Campus, 1004 Greer Memorial Hospital, Department 10046425 Medical Telemetry.
