Part Time Multi-site Assistant Manager - Storage Property
About the position
This is a Part-Time Floating Assistant Manager role, also known as a Client Happiness Hero & Master of Multitasking. The role involves approximately 24 hours per week, floating between Absolute Storage Properties' South Nashville locations. The ideal candidate will be located in the South Nashville/Brentwood area with flexibility to travel between nearby properties. Initial training will be provided at the Brentwood location. The tentative schedule includes one visit per month to Brentwood, one visit per week to 100 Oaks, and as needed visits to Abbott West. As a Floating Assistant Manager, you will support multiple properties, allowing for relationship building with a wider team and exposure to different property types, teams, and challenges. The variety in assignments is designed to keep the role engaging, with new situations, priorities, and opportunities to make an impact daily.
Responsibilities
⢠Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through other advertising/marketing opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies
⢠Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and offering solutions; guide new customers through rental processes
⢠Resolves issues professionally and positively
⢠Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep well-organized records and perform minor maintenance tasks and regular property inspections to ensure timely and consistent completion
⢠Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information gathered, including rates and specials, to supervisors and other departments; perform additional marketing functions as needed
⢠Monitors rates, specials, and revenue-related factors
⢠Perform required daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, processing daily bank deposits and completing auctions according to policy and laws
Requirements
⢠High school diploma/GED required
⢠A background screening will be conducted at time of hire.
⢠For positions that involve driving, a valid driverâs license and reliable transportation are required
Nice-to-haves
⢠Experience in sales or retail environment preferred
⢠Experience in fast-paced, customer service-related environment preferred
⢠At least one year of experience in property management experience preferred
