Part-Time Mental Health Therapist - Remote
At Lotus Counseling Services, PLLC we are dedicated to providing high quality, trauma informed, evidence-based services through a culturally competent lens. We strive to make services as accessible as possible by providing telehealth services to individuals residing in the states of Indiana, Illinois, and Colorado.
We are currently looking to hire a part-time clinician to provide individual, couples, and family therapy services for a wide variety of mental health concerns including mood disorders, trauma responses, substance abuse, and relational conflict.
The position as Mental Health Therapist (Remote) with Lotus Counseling Services, PLLC has several benefits including the ability to work from home and have a flexible schedule. You will be able to focus on providing clinical services without becoming bogged down with the demands of marketing, billing, and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
• Complete intake assessments for individuals, couples, and families; working collaboratively with clients to identify treatment goals and objectives.
• Conduct individual, couples, and family psychotherapy using evidenced based practices.
• Maintain clinical documentation including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and collateral notes.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and administrative staff regarding scheduling, documentation, and other requests.
• Engage in supervision with assigned supervisor as required.
Requirements
• Licensed with the state of Illinois (LMHC, LMHCA, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, LMFTA) (required)
• Dually licensed in Indiana and Illinois (preferred)
• 15 hours per week minimum availability (required)
• 10 evening appointment slots (after 4pm local time) per week (required)
• Professional liability insurance (required)
• Experience conducting individual therapy for a minimum of 1 year (required)
• Experience conducting couples therapy (preferred)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (required)
