Overview The ideal MDS candidate is detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and involved in bedside resident assessments and family meetings. How You Will Make a Difference β’ Complete MDS assessments using medical records, bedside evaluations, and interviews. β’ Participate in PPS, Medicare, and monthly meetings to ensure billing compliance. β’ Review and update the Plan of Care quarterly and with each assessment. What You Need To Make a Difference β’ Current RN or LPN license in the state. β’ At least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care. β’ Minimum 1 year of MDS experience.
