Quickly growing newspaper, financially stable, looking for a journalist with national and/or international news experience using credible sources.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Remote reporting on Connecticut politics, town meetings, events, human interest stories.
ā¢ Specialty in national or international reporting.
ā¢ Conduct interviews and investigative reporting.
ā¢ Write clear, compelling news stories on deadline.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred.
ā¢ Excellent writing, interviewing and research skills.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of AP style and journalistic ethics.
ā¢ Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
ā¢ Strong editorial experience, a plus.
