Responsibilities:
Develop and implement treatment plans for students with special needs.
Adapt instructional materials and techniques to meet the unique needs of each student.
Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
Conduct evaluations and assessments according to students' needs
Provide support and accommodations to students during assessments and evaluations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
Details:
Elementary caseload
Part-time; 20-25 hours/weekly
Requirements:
Valid GA Speech Language Pathologist-CCC license
Must have strong teletherapy experience
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of each student.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
