Part-Time Education Program Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Education Program Assistant to support our Family Services program at Fendall Street in SE Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assistance with youth programming and educational activities for children aged 5-16 years old.

About the Role:
Provide assistance with youth programming and educational activities for children aged 5-16 years old
Lead youth through SOME Place for Kids activities in after-school programs
Collaborate with the Youth Services Coordinator and staff to develop and implement programs
Assist in developing communications to promote programs and communicate with students and parents
Purchase supplies, assist with tutoring activities, and develop monthly activities calendars
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
1-3 years of experience in education or social services
Experience providing education/tutoring services to children
CPR/First-Aid and CPR for Infants certification
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
