Part-Time, Ecommerce Forecasting Analyst

We're partnering with our client to find a skilled eCommerce Forecasting Analyst to support a dynamic team. *This is a 6 month contract working 20 hours a week*. The position involves developing accurate daily forecasts for key eCommerce metrics and providing actionable insights. Ideally candidates need to go *onsite 1 day a week in Ventura, CA*.

*eCommerce Forecasting Analyst Responsibilities:*

* Develop, publish, and maintain daily forecasts for traffic, conversion rates, revenue, and orders, based on historical data, trends, and business drivers.
* Establish a regular forecast update schedule and document assumptions and model versions to ensure consistency.
* Create clear, user-friendly forecast outputs for routine performance reviews and decision-making.
* Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, and perform variance analysis to understand discrepancies and improve models.
* Collaborate with analytics and digital teams to align metrics, maintain data source mappings, and identify authoritative systems.

*eCommerce Forecasting Analyst Qualifications:*

* 4+ years of experience in analytics, forecasting, or performance measurement within eCommerce or retail sectors.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex data issues to non-technical partners.
* Ability to proactively communicate project status across various mediums.
* Experience working with performance data, modeling methodologies, and system data integration.
