Part-time Doctor for Clinical Trials

Job Summary The Clinical Trial Administrator plays a crucial role in the management and oversight of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical research processes, patient care, and medical terminology. The ideal candidate will possess experience in various medical specialties and demonstrate proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient service. Duties • Coordinate and manage all aspects of clinical trials, including protocol development, site selection, and patient recruitment. • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and institutional policies throughout the trial process. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across multiple specialties such as psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, and oncology to facilitate trial operations. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation related to clinical trials. • Conduct patient assessments and ensure proper triage for trial eligibility. • Oversee the administration of medications and treatments as outlined in trial protocols. • Provide support for data collection and analysis, ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP). • Facilitate communication between investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies. • Assist in the training of staff on clinical trial protocols and procedures. Qualifications • Proven experience in clinical research or related fields such as nursing or medical office administration. • Familiarity with EHR systems, EMR systems, and medical coding (CPT/ICD). • Knowledge of various medical specialties including but not limited to maternal-fetal medicine, critical care, gastroenterology, dermatology, pediatrics, and oncology. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams. • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player in a fast-paced environment. • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
