Key Responsibilities Insert customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry, applying data program techniques and procedures. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output to ensure high-quality data entry. Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, applying problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data security and integrity. Apply data program techniques and procedures to improve data entry efficiency and accuracy. Essential Qualifications Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices. Experience with MS Office and data programs, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and other software applications. Familiarity with administrative duties, including data entry, record-keeping, and document management. Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in data entry. Good typing speed, with a minimum of 40 words per minute, and excellent keyboarding skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a strong sense of self-motivation and discipline. Preferred Qualifications Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration, computer science, or information technology. Experience with data analysis and reporting, including data visualization and presentation skills. Knowledge of data management software and systems, including database management and data warehousing.
