Responsibilities
Maintain the database by entering new and updated customer and account information
Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
Establish entry priorities and process customer and account source documents
Review data for deficiencies and resolve them using standard procedures
Enter customer and account data accurately using keyboard or optical scanner
Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering information
Combine data from multiple systems when account information is incomplete
Purge files to eliminate duplicate data
Test system changes and upgrades by inputting new data
Secure information by completing database backups
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous data entry or related office experience preferred
Basic computer knowledge and skills are a plus
