As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you'll play a vital role in this ecosystem, contributing to the smooth processing of insurance claims and authorization requests. Job Overview We're looking for a skilled Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor to work 34 hours a week, with flexible hours between 8am - 4:30pm CST, Monday through Friday. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own space. As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests into our system, meeting client turnaround times and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Navigate our imaging software with ease to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, ensuring efficient processing. Differentiate between various claim types and follow established data entry guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy. Identify specific document types that require special handling, adhering to our quality standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, promoting a cohesive and productive work environment. Support additional workflows as needed, adapting to internal or external requirements and demonstrating flexibility. Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations, providing constructive feedback and maintaining our high standards. Contribute to the team effort by taking on additional responsibilities as needed, showcasing your versatility and commitment. Alert management to potential issues upon identifying discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing errors. Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies, leveraging your expertise and insights. Essential Qualifications To be a successful candidate, you'll need to meet our essential qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education. A minimum of 6 months of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role, showcasing your proficiency and accuracy. Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in your work. A high degree of accuracy, meeting our stringent standards and client expectations. If you're selected for further consideration, you'll be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment, achieving a minimum score of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate.
