**Responsibilities**
As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Intake and sale of prescriptions, processing charges for prescriptions and OTC merchandise
* Collecting payments in the form of cash, check, and credit card
* Providing receipts and checking the status of student accounts
* Collecting personal information and counting and recording all cash/charge records and files
* Answering calls and greeting patients with exceptional customer service
* Following all state and federal laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy, including HIPAA
* Adhering to established operating procedures and maintaining a fast-paced, busy work environment
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or higher, plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Pharmacy experience is a plus
* Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
* Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role
* Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
* Familiarity with electronic medical records and billing systems
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
