Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Part-Time/Contract Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our content team to create compelling vertical video content for our clients' social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in video editing, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the content team to understand client objectives and develop creative concepts for video content.
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality vertical videos that align with client brand guidelines and objectives.
• Utilize industry-standard editing software and tools to enhance video quality, including color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects.
• Ensure timely delivery of video projects, adhering to project deadlines and client expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to video projects.
• Maintain organized file management systems to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration within the team.
• Communicate regularly with project managers and clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or feedback.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and/or Davinci Resolve.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling and aesthetics.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video specifications and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
