Part Time Budget Analyst
Quick Overview:Position: Part Time Budget AnalystStart Date: Immediate openings availableCompensation: a competitive salaryLocation: RemoteCompany: Workwarp  Our client, a large apparel brand, is looking for a Part Time Budget Analyst to join their team for a 12 month contract. This role is remote and will work 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities...
 Identifying and manipulating large amounts of data, reducing it to trends and identifying exceptions that might need further analysis
 Provides assistance in the preparation of the annual budget, examine budget and financial statements, assemble financial and statistical reports for use in budget development and financial monitoring
 Examines a variety of financial statements for completeness and accuracy and conformity with fiscal policy, assisting in maintenance and reconciliation where needed
 Performs line by line trend analyses and financial forecasts of departmental budgets
 Support Business Managers in setting up budgets and tracking Monthly costs
 Create Purchase Orders and perform monthly service entries and accrual for expenses YTD
 Manage the recording and disposition of various files to maximize information outcomes from them
 Reconcile information and data between various financial systems
 Perform account research, reconciliation, and analysis
 Monitor and review reports for completeness and accuracy
 Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in service entries, documents, and reports
 Ensure integrity of financial information in ERP system
 Ensure that vendors are provided with timely and accurate assistance
 Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
 Provide timely information as requested
 Perform all the given duties during month close and can meet deadlines
 Perform other duties as assigned by management on financials
Required Qualifications:
 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
 4+ years experience and background in accounting, financial, or budget analysis
 Good mathematical and quantitative abilities
 Strong knowledge of MS Excel
 Ability to learn various financial systems
 Ability to track multiple priorities, be flexible, and meet deadlines
 Strategic and analytic thought with an ability to solve problems and make decisions
 Ability to communicate and support effective partnerships with other employees Ability to prioritize ongoing and new projects, as well as conduct research and gather information
 Skilled in oral/written communication and presentation, along with interpersonal skills for supporting conclusions and recommendations made
