Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote-Flexible Hours)

Job Description: Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote | Flexible Hours) Global Impact Initiative is looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper to take over a well-organized set of books. This is a fully remote role with flexible hours and strong transition support. You’ll manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, run payroll in QuickBooks, and submit grant reimbursement requests (RFRs) twice per month. You’ll deliver clean, organized records to our CPA firm—no tax prep required. The current individual in this position is scaling back and will be available to support onboarding, answer questions, and ensure a smooth handoff. What You’ll Be Doing • Day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online • Running payroll in QuickBooks Payroll, twice a month • Submitting grant reimbursement requests (RFRs) twice per month • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts • Tracking grant income and expenses • Providing reports to our CPA firm What We’re Looking For • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience • Strong QuickBooks Online experience • Nonprofit and grant bookkeeping experience • Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines Gii is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities and providing employees with a safe and welcoming work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
