Part Time Bookkeeper
Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Summary:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for daily store accounting procedures, following front-end checkout procedures in all transactions, and maintaining positive customer relations. This position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
Essential Job Functions:
Ā Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
Ā Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner.
Ā Ensure proper handling of all forms of tender, coupons, voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
Ā Follow front-end safety and security procedures.
Ā Assist with front-end maintenance and cleaning.
Ā Follow all store and department policies and procedures.
Ā Perform other duties as assigned or delegated.
Job Requirements:
Ā Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
Ā Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom)
Ā Reaching, standing, and turning.
Ā Judgement/decision making, social skills/verbal interactions.
Ā Memorization, reading, writing, and math.
Ā Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when a direct supervisor may not be immediately available.
Schedule:
Ā 6:00am availability.
Ā Preference will be given to candidates with open availability.
Ā Weekend availability is required.
