SummaryDescription: Under the direction of the Dining Room Supervisor, theServer is responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience forour residents and their guests. Follows established order and style ofservice while serving in the Main Dining Room and at special functions.Performs assigned side duties. Follows all safety and sanitation rulesand regulations. Responsible for clearing dishes, bussing and resettingTables. Maintains a Clean, Neat Appearance. Essential FunctionsDemonstrates the ability to courteously serve all residents and theirguests, and answer any dining related questions. Offers specials andcompletes the order by asking appropriate questions to the customer inorder to make their meal complete. Maintains Dining Room and work areasin a clean and orderly manner at all times according to departmentstandards as observed by random inspections. Handles all glassware andsilverware in a safe and sanitary manner and resets table according toprocedures. Assists other departmental staff with assigned duties andtraining with or without verbal requests. Performs duties in anindependent manner with minimal need for direct supervision as observedby supervisor. Makes suggestions for improvement in food and service andparticipates in mandatory and regular meetings, provides input-feedbackWork harmoniously and cooperatively within a team structure.Collaborating with co-workers while remaining positive and respectful atall times. This includes delivering on resident and guest functions,activities and promotions Qualifications: Preferred Education: HighSchool diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience: Previous customerservice of at least 6 months
