Part-Time Accounts Payable Associate
Waynflete, an independent day school serving 560 students in Portland, ME is seeking a detail-oriented and organized part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team! This is a 3-year position for capital campaign support.
Location:
Waynflete Campus (360 Spring St. Portland, ME), and eligible for partial remote work.
Expected hours:
12-18 per week, flexible schedule (some hours must fall within our business hours of 8-4:30 M-F)
Responsibilities:
Ā Accurately process and scan invoices and related documents into an AI invoice processing system
Ā Set up and maintain vendor files including W-9 forms
Ā Assist School faculty and staff with purchasing processes and reimbursement requests
Ā Process invoices for payment, perform bi-weekly check run
Ā Manage credit card expense reports and monthly processing
Ā Other accounting duties as assigned
Ā Assist with and participate in school events
Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
Ā Equivalent to an Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business/Public Administration, or related field preferred. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Ā Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Ā Accounting software experience preferred
Ā Excellent problem solving skills
Ā Attention to detail
Ā Strong organizational skills
Ā Strong verbal and written communication skills and collaborative spirit
