Part-Time Accountant - Bookkeeper - Fractional CFO
Job Description: • This is a remote position. • Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper / Fractional CFO for Science-Driven Lab Businesses • We operate multiple analytical laboratory businesses focused on regulated testing in cannabis and environmental lab spaces. • We’re seeking a part-time, long-term financial partner who can handle both daily bookkeeping and strategic financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting. • This role combines operational accuracy with high-level financial thinking. • You’ll manage invoicing, expenses, and reconciliations day-to-day—while also helping us analyze cash flow, prepare financial models, and generate reports for board meetings, capital planning, and expansion efforts. Requirements: • Part-time availability (~10–15 hours/week to start, scalable over time) • Experience supporting scientific, lab, or professional services businesses • Fluent in GAAP, cash + accrual accounting • Skilled in creating budgets, forecasts, investor-ready summaries • Detail-oriented, proactive communicator • Comfortable working independently and producing clean, audit-ready books • Experience with multi-entity or departmental reporting a strong plus Benefits: • Flexible hours, • async communication is fine, • Long-term fit preferred—ideally someone who can grow with us Apply tot his job
