About the position
HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a Paramedic EMT to join our team, dedicated to providing high-quality, efficient care to patients. This role involves providing supportive care to Emergency Department patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. The position requires performing approved procedures, documenting vital signs, and assisting with various tasks to ensure patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities
Β Provide supportive care to Emergency Department patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.

Β Perform approved procedures as required.

Β Document and report vital signs, and report abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.

Β Take height and weight measurements of patients.
,
Β Place ECG electrodes and attach ECG monitor correctly, and perform EKGs.
,
Β Assist with setting up oxygen per instructions.
Requirements
Β 1 year of EMT or Paramedic experience required.

Β Paramedic certification required.
,
Β Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
