Paralegal/Legal Document Support Coordinator (expert witnesses) - part time (20hrs/wk for 3 mths then 40 hrs Full time)

Part time (20hrs/wk) Contract for 3 months then they will convert to permanent which will be full time-40 hours M-F during normal business hours

During the contract they are able to do some of the work after hours/weekends if needed, but there will be times they need to be available during business hours.

Position Summary

The Expert File Coordinator is responsible for assembling, organizing, and delivering expert files in response to attorney requests. This role ensures all relevant documents, reports, CVs, prior testimony, publications, billing records, and case materials are accurate, complete, and compliant with legal standards. The position serves as a liaison between attorneys, experts, and internal staff to ensure timely and organized case support.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with litigation timelines and expert disclosures (preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple attorney requests simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
• High level of discretion with confidential materials
• Proven experience using Dropbox for document management and secure file sharing

Preferred Experience
• Background in legal support, paralegal work, or litigation services
• Experience working with expert witnesses
• Understanding of discovery and expert disclosure requirements
