As a Paralegal Specialist at the State of Florida, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys and other legal professionals in the pursuit of justice for our citizens. Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal professionals by organizing and maintaining case files, scheduling meetings and appointments, and preparing legal documents.

Conduct legal research and analysis to assist attorneys in building their cases and developing legal strategies.

Utilize knowledge of legal terminology and procedures to draft legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts.

Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings to gather information and provide updates on case progress.

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and organizing exhibits.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional and ethical manner.

Stay up-to-date on changes in laws, regulations, and court procedures to ensure accurate and timely assistance to attorneys.

Coordinate with other departments and agencies, such as law enforcement, to obtain necessary information and documents for cases.

Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines to ensure efficient and effective workflow.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to public service and the pursuit of justice for all citizens of the state of Florida.
