Paid Nurse Practitioner Preceptors (MD/PA/NP/CNM/LMHC)
Please acknowledge before applying: You must work at an employer that will allow you to precept a student. You will bring a student onsite to your workplace OR if you are telemed/telepsych, you must work on a platform that will allow a student to join remotely. With that said, we are looking for MD, NP, PA, CNM or licensed therapists that are wiling to precept NP students at their respective current employers. This is not a position for a new grad without experience or for those that are not employed.

Urgent need for Nurse Practitioner preceptors (MD/DO/NP/CNM)
WE NEED YOUR HELP!! There is a NATIONWIDE preceptor shortage. Preceptors serve as a key component of success for Nurse Practitioner students while they learn skills that require hands-on teaching and focused learning. Preceptors must have an advanced level of clinical acumen, enjoy teaching and work at a clinical site that will allow for NP students.

The experience of precepting is rewarding. Preceptors maintain clinical knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective preceptor. May be eligible for CME or state tax credits (state dependent). Most importantly, though, you are HELPING a student reach the finish line.
Nurse Practitioner students come from a variety of clinical tracks including Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner programs and are generally in their final, most important year, of their educational journey.
Requirements:
-Must have clearance from clinical site to precept students prior to applying.
-Hold active certification as an MD/DO/NP/PA for at least 1 year.
-Currently working as a Nurse Practitioner, MD, DO, or PA for atleast 1 year
-Work in a clinical setting that can offer a rotation in Psych/mental health (on-site or virtually), Internal medicine, Family medicine, Women’s health/OB, Pediatrics, Acute Care
Preferred qualification:
-Previous experience as a preceptor

• We provide 24/7 support during your student's rotation.

Pay: $600.00 - $3,000.00 per month
