Packaging Development Specialist
• 3 month contract position (approx. mid-January to mid-April) • Project manage the design, sourcing and development of catering packaging • Multinational, multibillion dollar quick service restaurant business, ready for US expansion! We’re looking for a Packaging Development Specialist to join us for a 3-month contract, specifically to support us as we overhaul our catering offer, a large part of which will be around the way our catering is packaged. Day to day you will: • Drive packaging development projects that meet cost, quality and sustainability goals • Collaborate with Culinary, Marketing, and Operations teams • Work with existing suppliers, and source new suppliers as required to meet business needs • Manage compliance with state and national regulations • Oversee supplier trials and maintain packaging specs • Support WH&S and food safety improvements We're looking for: • 3–5 years of experience in packaging development • Formal qualifications in Packaging Technology, Science, or Engineering • Strong project management and communication skills • Tech-savvy with advanced Microsoft Office skills We're reviewing applications regularly throughout the advertising period.
