We provide high-quality accounting services, including month-end close, high-level reporting, and strategy to business owners. We are looking for an overseas accountant to join our growing team. We have several real estate clients who are investors, developers, brokers, and construction projects that we need to service. We are looking for someone with a minimum of eight years of applicable real estate experience and an expert level in real estate accounting to assist several clients with complex real estate models. We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to bring expertise, innovation, and precision to our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate MUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 8 years of QuickBooks Online experience and have excellent oral and written communication skills. What You'll Do • Own the Numbers – Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities to maintain impeccable financial records in compliance with GAAP standards. • Drive Financial Success – Analyze key financial data to provide insights that inform decision-making and support business growth. • Lead Accounts Receivable – Oversee invoicing and collections, ensuring seamless cash flow and client account management. • Ensure Compliance & Accuracy – Stay ahead of securities laws and regulatory requirements, keeping our financial reporting precise and compliant. • Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with cross-functional teams to support private equity initiatives, financial forecasting, and reporting. • Master Cutting-Edge Tools – Utilize Sage accounting software to streamline financial processes and enhance data management. What We're Looking For • U.S. Accounting Experience Required – A solid background in financial services or related sectors is essential. • Education & Certifications – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. • Technical Expertise – Deep understanding of debits, credits, GAAP principles, and financial reporting. • Industry Knowledge – Familiarity with securities law is a plus, especially in financial services. • Analytical Mindset – Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret complex data with ease. • Tech-Savvy – Experience with Sage or similar accounting software is highly desirable. Advanced Software Skills • Advanced knowledge/expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) • Experience with data migration from Xero to QBO • Familiarity with project management software, particularly in construction-related settings • Proven ability to process and organize large volumes of data efficiently • Detail-Oriented & Organized – Your precision and ability to work independently or collaboratively will make you a perfect fit.
