Job Responsibilities:
Β Assist clients with activities of daily living, including: Meal Preparation/Diet/Eating, Light Housekeeping, DressingMobility, Personal hygiene, Medication reminders, Transportation as needed, Provide safety, oversight and supervision of clients to ensure their ability to continue to live at home.
Β Is responsible, respectful and cooperative with patients/families, supervisors, fellow employees
Β Maintains friendly working atmosphere
Β Maintains appropriate attitude
Β Maintains appropriate appearance
Β Accepts constructive criticism as evidenced by appropriate changes in behavior
Β Utilizes established channels of communication
Β Recognizes limitations and seeks assistance appropriately
Β Follows agencies policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Β Must have NYS certification for PCA or HHA's
Β Work Authorization required
Β Meets NYS health requirements
Β Recent physical
Β Two References
Β Positive and compassionate attitude
Β Drivers License or reliable transportation is required
Β Hoyer lift experience a plus- but we will train!
License/Certification:
Β HHA OR PCA (Required)
