Outsourcing Character Artist

Job Description: • *What we are looking for:**We are seeking an Outsource Character Artist to collaborate closely with both internal and external teams on Character Assets for Cosmetics. In this role, you will work with the producer on scheduling, coordinate with the internal development team to meet project needs and manage the delivery of assets from external vendors. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for external partners and must be extremely nimble, with strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to varying time schedules, evolving project needs, and non-traditional hours across different time zones. While the role includes managerial responsibilities, it is also hands-on, involving the intake and assessment of assets to ensure they meet the required standards. Additionally, you will provide valuable feedback on art assets from outsource to maintain quality and consistency throughout the project. Requirements: • *What you will bring:**- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Unreal, Substance Painter, Maya, Zbrush are required.- Experience with Autodesk Flow Production for Tracking and Confluence strong bonus.- Attention to detail and clear organizational skills. A mind for problem-solving large-scale asset management, pipeline inefficiencies and comprehensive processes on a technical level.- Solid grasp of game feel, design affordances and visual shape/color language.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, natural curiosity for the bigger picture, and the ability to work well in a team environment.- Value for an inclusive and empathetic work culture.- Live service project experience preferred, but shipping experience required.
