This is a full-time remote sales role where you will be responsible for developing your territory, growing pipeline, and bringing on new customers through understanding how Just Right Reader can address their literacy needs. The ideal candidate has a track record of meeting or exceeding quota selling to districts and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Candidates should reside in Maryland, Pennsylvania, or Delaware.Key Responsibilities:Form trusted relationships with district leaders through understanding their early literacy needs and employing a consultative sales approachDevelop your territory and maintain a healthy pipeline through forming relationships with regional organizations and key decision makers, attending local conferences, and understanding regional initiatives, funding sources and/or legislationMeet or exceed sales targets for Classroom Libraries and Take-Home Decodable PacksEffectively utilize sales tools (e.g. Hubspot)Occasional travel for conferences and meetings with school districts requiredPreferred Qualifications:3+ years experience as a past principal or district leader who understands the ins and outs of schools and working with districtsOwnership mentality with high degree of organization and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcited to work in a fast-paced, quickly growing organizationReady to share your learnings and collaborate with others to make the entire team smarter and more effectiveDeep empathy for educators and passion for early literacy; prior teaching or district leadership experience strongly preferredWhy Join Us?Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children's literacy!Work with a passionate, driven team committed to innovation in education!100% remote workplace - with access to an office in Dallas, TX!Company expense card with home office stipend for set up!Up to 12 weeks of parental leave!Urbansitter Membership + $500 childcare credit per year!Just Right Reader is an equal opportunity employer.
