Outreach Representatives

We are looking for dedicated Outreach Representatives to join our headquartered out of Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring effective communication and support within the healthcare insurance sector. This is a telecommuting position in a challenging, fast paced, high-volume operation, where accuracy and quality are essential. You must have relevant customer service and/or healthcare experience to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities: Contact providers, hospitals and/or clinical staff via phone and email to explain program and request, set commitments for information return, and explain options for completing and transmitting information. Develop and manage on-going relationships with providers to reduce provider abrasion and drive program participation. You will be responsible for making approx. 40 - 60 outbound calls daily and meeting program specific metrics outlined by leadership. In addition to initial outreach, you will perform research to locate providers, prepare data for release, and conduct follow-up. Your day will consist of 95% phone work and 5% research and data entry. Respond to coaching and various forms of feedback and quality analysis to meet or exceed performance metrics. Adhere to Protected Health Information PHI policies and practices.
Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience. Experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Intermediate level of use) including word and excel. Effective communication skills, an articulate and detail oriented phone presence. Ability to apply creative thinking skills when needed to resolve questions as it relates to the program. Ability to work independently, apply critical thinking skills when needed, multi-task and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions. Telecommuting Requirements: No time off will be allowed during training (first 1-4 weeks), minimal time-off will be allowed over the first few months. You are required to have a quiet and private, dedicated work space that is separate from other living areas and people. There should be no one else in the room nor any distractions while working. Must have appropriate childcare arrangements if child is not of the age to care for themselves. Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure. You are handling Protected Health Information (PHI). Internet Speeds: You must have a high-speed internet connection and maintain a 50 mps Download and 20 mps Upload speed.
