They are seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to manage outbound prospecting, build target account lists, and collaborate with team members to shape the go-to-market strategy as the company expands in the U.S.ResponsibilitiesOwn outbound prospecting end-to-end — identify, engage, and qualify high-intent prospects using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Claude/ChatGPT, Amplemarket, Clay and HubspotBuild and continuously refine target account lists, personas, and messaging based on frontline results and feedbackStay highly organized — track activities, manage pipeline, and build mini-project plans for outreach into new verticals and use casesArticulate Brainfish's unique value prop clearly and confidently across written, verbal, and visual formatsTest, learn, and iterate — bringing ideas back to the team on what's resonating, what's not, and where we should double downHave meaningful conversations with smart, curious prospects who are actively seeking better solutionsWork hand-in-fin with founders, marketing, and product to help shape go-to-market strategy as we scaleSkillsAre based in Phoenix, AZ — this is a remote role, but you'll be expected to work from a local co-working space 3–6 days per month for focused collaborationHave at least 6 months of direct outbound SDR or BDR experience — you've actually picked up the phone, sent the sequences, and built pipeline from scratchAre organized and self-motivated — you can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ballAre articulate — whether cold calling or cold writing, your message hitsThink strategically and can build outreach plans around a new vertical or use caseEnjoy refining ICPs and crafting new segments based on data, feedback, and outcomesAre comfortable flexing your schedule occasionally to sync with our Australia-based team — a few late afternoon or evening calls per month to keep communication flowingThrive in ambiguity and see building from scratch as a challenge to lean into, not run fromHave experience in SaaS or tech sales (strongly preferred)BenefitsEquity in a fast-growing, venture-backed startupDirect access to company leadership and real involvement in business decisionsFull access to best-in-class prospecting tools and platformsA chance to shape product roadmap and GTM strategy from the ground floorA culture built on trust, creativity, and ownership (plus a few fish puns )Company OverviewBrainfish creates AI driven customer experience software that automates and uplifts the post-sales experience for customers.
